Execution of James Maclean

James Maclean, commonly known as The Gentleman Highwayman, was hanged at Tyburn Gibbet in 1750.

In 1783 the infamous Gibbet was dismantled and executions thereafter took place at Newgate Prison.

This pamphlet was published in 1795 by Richard Wood's neighbour John Marshall at No. 17, Queen Street, Cheapside, the Woods being at No. 15, Queen Street, just across Watling Street.
