Drawing - Spices and Seasoning

This original drawing, measuring 22in by 10in, is believed to have been produced c1937 for promotion of the Fresh Ground Spices and Seasoning range that the Company sold, but appears never to have been used.

 

It is signed 'Gill-Lancaster’, and among her other work were four posters for London Transport in 1937 and six line drawings for 'Heaven Lies about Us ', the first volume of Howard Spring’s autobiography, published in 1939.
