Thomas Charles J Andrews

 

Tom Andrews was born on 26th  June 1914 and joined the Company in December 1959 as a sales representative for the London and South East area.

 

Tom was one of our most successful salesmen in the 1960s and 70s, and was instrumental in selling our first digital scales, the Monarch and its successor the Lion 2000.

 

Tom retired in June 1981 and in 1985 moved to St Agnes in Cornwall with his wife Doris, from where he occasionally rang if any of the scales in his local Tesco in Truro were not working!

 

Tom died in June 1999 at the age of 85.
