John Dymoke

John Bryan Dymoke

 

John Dymoke started with the Company in 1975 as a financial adviser at a time when we had no professional accountants in the business.  He brought in sound financial controls, and provided us with proper management information.

 

John was appointed to the Board in 1976 representing E.S. Schwab & Co., a merchant bank who then owned one-third of the Company.

 

John retired in September 1984, by which time Schwab had been bought by Volkskas, a South African bank, which in 1985 sold their shares back to the Company.  John took an active part in local politics and was appointed Mayor of St. Albans in April 1977.

 

John Dymoke was born on 30th May 1925, and died in May 1999.
