Horace Endersby

Horace Alfred J Endersby (1910 – 1969)

 

Horace Endersby was born on 23rd January 1910, and joined the Company in July 1947 at Goswell Road, having previously been employed on typewriter repairs and service.

 

At the Company he was retrained as a scale mechanic, and was mainly responsible for service contracts in the Central London area.

 

He was a stalwart amongst the outside service staff where he frequently topped the records of machines serviced each week.

 

Outside of work he was particularly interested in the organisation of social functions of all types, and for many years undertook the duties of Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies at formal functions throughout London.

 

Horace died on 4th September 1969 at the age of 59.
