Steve Reeve

Stephen Herbert Reeve (1924 - 1983)

 

Steve Reeve was born on 22nd October 1924, and joined the Company at Edmonton in 1961 as a welder.  He briefly left the Company in March 1963, returning in November that year.

 

On the move to Haverhill in 1968, his talents as a gardener came to the fore when he took on the extra responsibility of upkeep of the factory grounds and shrubs.

 

Steve suffered a good deal with his heart in later years, and died in March 1983.
