Louis Weber

Louis Weber (1895 - 1982)

 

Louis Weber was born in Whitechapel on 10th February 1895.  He joined the Company’s team of service engineers in February 1941 at the time the scale and mincer service sections were split, working alongside Joe D’Amant Snr on mincers.

 

He retired on October 31st 1960 after nearly 20 years service with the Company.

 

Louis Weber died on 4th April 1982 aged 87 years, when the Lion News reported that he was ‘a cheerful and bustling character’, ‘well liked by both customers and Company’.
