Jack Rutherford

John George Rutherford (1909 -1996)

 

Jack Rutherford was born on 29th May 1909, and joined the Company in 1955 as a Fixers Mate.

 

He retired on health grounds on 18th November 1966, having been advised by his Doctor to get a job nearer to his home in Uckfield, Sussex. This advice was clearly good, as he died in 1996 at the age of 87.
