Ted Fenner

Edward David Fenner (1908 – 1977)

 

Ted Fenner was born in Islington on 8th September 1908, and came to Herbert & Sons Ltd. in 1960 when we took over the Swift Scale Company,having been a salesman with Swift for many years.

 

Ted died in Lewisham on 12th May 1977, and his obituary in the Lion News recorded that he was ‘An extremely successful speciality salesman, he brought a keenness, enthusiasm and ability to selling weighing machines which is seldom matched.'

 

Ted is shown here on the Company stand at the Meat Industry Exhibition at the New Agricultural Hall, Westminster, in 1963.
