Ivy West

Ivy May West (1921 – 1984)

 

Ivy West was born on 29th March 1921, and joined the Company as a lathe operator in March 1947.

 

Ivy left the Company in March 1965, and re-joined in July 1966.

 

However she did not wish to move to the new factory in Haverhill, so left us in October 1967 shortly before our move to Haverhill.  An attractive and bright personality, she was a great boost to morale in the machine shop.

 

Ivy died on 17th November 1984.
