Gladys Wall

Gladys Rose Wall (1918 – 1993)

Gladys Turner was born in Bethnal Green on 24th March 1918, and married Henry Wall there just after the start of WWII in 1939.

She joined the Company in November 1948 as a typist at 6 & 7 West Smithfield, having previously worked at the famous department store, Gamages at Holborn Circus.

Gladys left our employ in May 1959, and died in Waltham Forest in 1993.
