Robbie Robertson

Francis J Robertson (1920 – 1992)

 

Robbie Robertson was born on 5th June 1920 in Scotland.  He joined the Company in April 1960 as a Representative, selling, measuring up and fitting our stainless steel railwork which all butchers shops had at the time.

 

Robbie obtained many good orders in his career with us, among those one for £2000 from John Gardner's of Wimbledon in February 1962, and ones for £4000 from Safeway Supermarkets for various new stores in 1963 and 1964.

 

He later moved to our Industrial weighing section after we ceased to sell railwork, and became Sales Office Manager in January 1967.

 

Robbie left us in December 1970 and took employment in Scotland.

 

He died on 21st November 1992 in St Andrews.
