Coin Scale c1790 by Thomas CroomeScale with steel beam with box end terminals in a Japanned oval tin box 5½ in x 2¼ in.
These were made by Thomas Croome, at the Justice & Scales, No 6 near Cow Lane, West Smithfield about 1790.
The box has spaces containing three knobbed weights, a sovereign, half sovereign and guinea, plus a loose half guinea.
