Ralph Shaw

Ralph Shaw (1882 – 1966)

 

Ralph Shaw was born in Islington in 1882, and joined the Company in October 1919 as a grinder, having been recommended to us by Mr Newson, Q.F.C.F.2 at Woolwich Arsenal Small Arms Factory in Old Ford.

 

He transferred to the Scale Shop in August 1929, and to the staff in April 1932.

 

He left our employ in January 1935 after 16 years service.

 

It is believed that he died on the Isle of Wight in 1966 at the age of 84.
