Vice - Armourers

During WWII, the Company's resources were turned over almost entirely to war work, and manufacture of our standard ranges of mincers and weighing machines virtually ceased.

 

Among the items we produced were vices, in particular 11,800 armourers vices and 8,000 other vices.

 

Pictured right is an example of an armourers vice, which was covered by a patent issued in 1944 to Albert Fitz Herbert and Herbert & Sons Ltd.
