This copy was registered No 41369 at Stationers' Hall on 14th November 1911.

The typography of the cover is classic Art Nouveau, the individual letters being asymmetrical, inspired by the curved lines of organic shapes found in nature and distinctly different from more common geometric typeface designs.  Art Nouveau typography had a calligraphic or handmade look, borrowing elements from older traditions such as Celtic or Medieval manuscripts and Persian art.

5000 copies of this catalogue were printed at a total cost of £94-12-6, and special colour pages were added at additional cost for Patent Tin Tickets, Butchers' Posters, Brass Tickets and Sausage Seasoning.
