Lion News reported:

 

"For the first time since before the war, when the Show was held at the Agricultural Hall, Islington, the Company are exhibiting at the Smithfield Show from Monday December 8th to Friday December 12th.  A full range of 'B' and 'S' Dept products will be on display."

 

Following the exhibition, Lion News reported that "Results have proved it was well worth the effort put in and congratulations are due to all the many people who had a hand in it."
