1959 - Meat Trades Exhibition

The Company exhibited at the National Federation of Meat Traders Exhibition at Blackpool on October 26th and 27th 1959.

 

Lion News reported:

 

"The bi-annual Conference of the National Federation of Meat Traders was held at Blackpool again this year, in conjunction with the usual Trade Exhibition, in which we participated.  The Exhibition was opened by the President of the National Federation with a short speech and Mr. A.J. Herbert replied on behalf of all the Exhibitors.

 

"In spite of some shocking weather on the Tuesday which kept attendance on that date down, it was a great success.  Judging from the congratulations received it was the best stand at Blackpool.  Thanks are due to all who helped make it such a success, particularly Mr. E. Abbott, Mr. P.A. Davis and Mr. G. Speakman."
