1958 - Hospital Equipment Exhibition

Lion News reported that:

 

"The Company is exhibiting a range of personal weighing machines and mincers of interest to hospitals in the International Hospital Equipment and Medical Services Exhibition at Olympia from Monday May 5th to Saturday May 10th.  It is hoped that our new mid-wife's scale will be on show at this exhibition for the first time."

 

Following the exhibition, Lion News reported:

 

"Although the actual number of orders booked at the exhibition was small, we believe that substantial business should mature later.  Meanwhile it was nice to be able to meet a lot of satisfied users and introduce to them alternative models.

 

"Thanks are due to those who staffed the stand - an arduous task - and particularly to Mr. Saw who was responsible for the layout and organisation.

 

"The 'Cherub' Midwives Scale was ready in time and was well received."
